My mom is my inspiration..

Gift from God



When i was young and adventurous;
the sun rose too soon
When i grow fast and old;
why does it sets so soon?
I didn't realize
Time passed me by.


When i was still a baby;
firm and soft hands carry me
Rock me in her arms and feel;
sheltering me from night's chill
I didn't realize
She loves me so much.


When i stood on my feet;
i learned to moan and weep
When troubles bring me to my knees;
she always sits beside me
with eyes oh so teary
She sets my heart free.



With you, im fond of advice;
i'm craving for sweet lullabies;
I see comfort in your eyes
I smell the scent of sacrifice
i should've showed love right before you
Because i knew i can't go back to where i should've start.



Among thousands of people;
you came down and be the person
who will be the very reason
that keeps me going on and on
When i'm sleeping;you keep awake
dreaming with me until the night is over.



Thank God i've known you
since birth to love me too
My life lies in you
Oh. how i wish i could turn back time';
you're still alive and i can tell you why
i regret the day i didn't tell you
that Mom, i will always love you true!

---The poem is about a son/daughter who got lost.It was too late when he realized that his mom is his only strengthbecause his mom is gone. Every second counts and in my case,i lost so much of my time thinking how could i ever repay my mother for all her sacrifices. I know that for my mom,those are not sacrifices, it's her love for me and for the whole family. I love you, Mama!!!!!!!!!
